Olive Brown Cup

A small, straight-sided stoneware cup dipped in a glossy olive-brown glaze that stops short of the base, leaving a band of raw speckled clay at the foot. The squared handle sits square to the hand, and the glaze breaks lighter over the rim where it runs thin. At 150 ml it is sized for a cortado, a filter coffee or an after-dinner chai.
