Black Mug

A hand-thrown stoneware mug in a deep matt black glaze, cut off at the foot to reveal the raw, unglazed clay beneath. The contrast is deliberate: a quiet, architectural silhouette against the grain of the earth it was made from. Fired in small batches with our maker clusters, each piece carries small variations in tone and texture that mark it as handmade.
